FOR SALE: The MILL at BLUE OVEN FARM

Originally planned for use at Blue Oven Farm at State Rt 32, our Buhr-Stone Mill is capable to serve a large scale milling operation with settings that will allow for a fine or coarse grind or for any purpose whether it be for flour milling or milling for brewing purposes. Nordyke Marmon & Company in Indianapolis, Indiana manufactured the mill with the Buhr Stone coming from France. The Buhr Stone is a silica stone sought after for grinding wheat. This mill was originally in use at Shellsford Mill near McMinnville, TN and was restored by “Tank” Goren in Kentucky who restored parts of the mill for operation use but never ran it. The mill was then acquired by Roy Davis and stored in Sparta, TN until purchased for Blue Oven Bakery.
